Louis B. Rosenberg
Louis Rosenberg (born May 24, 1969) is an American inventor, entrepreneur, and writer. He attended Stanford University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in 1991, a Master’s degree in 1993, and a PhD in 1994. His doctoral work focused on robotics, virtual reality, and human-computer interaction. Rosenberg then founded three high-tech companies, including Immersion Corporation, Microscribe LLC, and Outland Research. Rosenberg is a vegan, a supporter of animal rights, and has helped to develop the first VR surgical simulators that reduced the use of animals in medical training.〔〔 He is also dyslexic and has attributed some of his success as a technologist to this trait.
